Thank You Notes

Last year, I did a list of things I’m grateful for, and since I’m still grateful for all those things, I decided to mix it up this year and write a series of thank you notes.

Dear Bryan, Lynnie, Jyl & Micki,

Thank you for letting us take over your house, eat all your food, and use all your sunscreen, and for hosting us for the second year in a row for a dream Thanksgiving. I love turkey with all the fixings, or I should say all the fixings with a little turkey, especially when I don’t have to make it myself. And I love leaving single degree weather in Boston for a few days to have fun in the sun with you.

Also George is right, you have great snacks. #Cheetos

Dear Chans,

Thanks for giving Rosie so much love and taking care of her over Thanksgiving. We are so lucky to count you as our friends, and still sort of hoping you’ll leave Damon with us over Christmas.

Dear Village,

Hillary was right about a lot of things, but especially about it taking a village to raise a child. I feel unbelievably fortunate to have the one I have. Mom, Dad, Gram, Marie, Jip, Dee, Nisha, Barb – I don’t know what I’d do without you, but it would definitely involve more crying, frequently abandoned children, and less wine.
